The Market with Friends

*The markets are outdoor malls and grocery shopping center all in one and they are MASSIVE. You can find anything there from plumbing and second hand electronics to live eels and turtles in buckets. Fish fried whole (these were really popular!) shirts, shoes, jewelry, dogs, cats, bunnies, underwear, guitars, old TVs, garage sale items, fruit eggs, and everything else that you can imagine are sold at these markets. Last night we went to the market with some of the members from Korat after they had taken us out to dinner. It was so fun to be surrounded by these members that were so excited to be with us. Again, we were like movies stars walking through the market. Amnaad had out his video camera and the five little boys –
-Arm – Eeg and Leg’s little boy
-Guy and Moseed – Tun and Tay’s two boys
-And Euro and Eufa – Amnaad’s two little boys
were running around like crazy. Sister Wan and ?Ee were there too. All the women had fun trying to find clothes for me.

[This is Eeg and Leg and their son Arm. Matt taught and baptized them when he was there as a missionary 9 years ago. They are still very active.]

[This is Tun and Tay with their two boys Guy and Moseed. This is a perfect example of Thai transportation. This scooter is their family vehicle. The four of them ride together everywhere. Tun and Tay both served missions there in Thailand and Matt was at their wedding while he was here as a missionary.]
